Project Overview
Website: nailsrus.ca
TheWebPro has worked with Nails R Us Beauty Supply on a long-term e-commerce and digital growth program for a professional beauty-supply business serving salons, nail technicians and other licensed beauty professionals across Canada.
The Challenge
A large professional catalogue creates a different UX problem from a small online store. Customers need to move from broad product families to the right brands, systems and supplies quickly, while the business also needs scalable collection management, strong search visibility and practical B2B registration.
Strategy
We focused on catalogue architecture, responsive shopping journeys, search-friendly collection structure and clear paths for professional customers. As the storefront evolved, the work expanded into merchandising, navigation, SEO, campaign support and Shopify-focused improvements.
Retail & E-commerce Decisions
- Collection architecture: organize products around the way professionals browse instead of internal inventory naming.
- Merchandising: use featured collections, launches and campaigns to guide attention without overwhelming the catalogue.
- Mobile commerce: keep search, categories, product information and buying actions practical on smaller screens.
- B2B conversion: simplify registration and approval steps for licensed professional customers.
- SEO: strengthen category and collection content for local and national beauty-supply searches.

Documented Outcome
In a 2022 client review, Nails R Us reported that sales volume had more than doubled within six months of the earlier website launch, citing stronger Google visibility and a simplified professional-registration process as important contributors. The engagement has continued through later storefront and marketing improvements.
Result
An evolving e-commerce platform built to support a large beauty catalogue, professional customers and long-term organic and paid growth rather than functioning as a one-time website build.
